Program Description
The CEO Peer Advisory Group, co-sponsored by the Minority Business Development Agency (MBDA) of The U.S. Department of Commerce and The Chicago Chapter of the Association for Corporate Growth (ACG Chicago), is a program that provides leading Chicago-area minority business enterprise (MBE) Executives with the following:
a) A confidential, monthly idea and issue exchange with 12 like-minded and situated executive peers. This is professionally facilitated.
b) Coaching and mentorship from leading Chicago area corporations and private equity firms through the ACG network of over 1,000 members
c) Monthly educational opportunities reflecting all aspects of business, taught by working experts in several fields of expertise.
d) Ability to network with Chicago’s most successful business executives.
Fully understanding that "it is lonely at the top", this program is designed to provide talented and ambitious executives a safe and confidential platform of equally talented peers to share and resolve issues, as well as implement best practices within each of their respective businesses.
The program will be implemented through one-day monthly meetings. Each meeting will consist of: (a) Peer idea and issue exchange, (b) Coaching/Mentorship development, (c) Educational component from working professionals, (d) Goal-setting and review of financial performance.
