2012 Corporate Growth Award
Lauralee Martin accepting the 2012 Corporate Growth Award
There is no question that the real estate industry is one of the sectors most affected by the financial volatility of the last few years. Most of the firms in the industry have declared success if they simply maintained their business. This is what makes the 2012 Corporate Growth Award winner even more impressive.  As we reviewed all of the submissions for the year, this year's winner stood out as a key leader.

Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated is a Chicago based international real estate services company that provides a full range of real estate services from management and leasing to tenant representation and investment management. They have successfully grown through acquisition and weathered the economic downturn. It is because of that continued growth throughout these difficult times that ACG Chicago is awarding Jones Lang LaSalle with the 2012 Corporate Growth Award. The award will be accepted by Lauralee Martin, Executive Vice President, Chief Financial and Operating Officer of Jones Lang LaSalle.

These two awards were presented at the
12th Annual Midwest ACG Capital Connection®,
October 18, 2011 at McCormick Place in Chicago.
The Lifetime Achievement Award
  Bruce Rauner
Chairman at GTCR

We are please to be honoring Bruce Rauner for all his contributions. The Private equity industry grew out of leveraged buyouts and venture capital in the 1980's and he clearly helped lead this change through GTCR. Beyond being a founding leader and one of the most successful executives in private equity, Rauner has made countless investments in civic and philanthropic endeavors.

The DealMaker Award
  C. Dean Metropoulos

Certainly Dean Metropoulos is another great example of successful private investment. He is the current owner Pabst and has previously owned Bumble Bee, Chef Boyardee, Duncan Hines, Ghiradelli, Perrier Jouet, Vlasic, Morningstar and Solar Marine to name a few. He has been involved in over 75 transactions involving over $12 billion of invested capital.
Join us to hear his winning perspective on middle-market and midwestern investments.
